2007 Fall Symposium Logistics

Location and entrance

Please enter through the main entrance of the World Bank is located on 1818 H Street, facing Pennsylvania Avenue, enter (DO NOT USE visitor's entrance), and look for symposium signs to the Preston Auditorium. Registration runs from 7:45 - 8:20 am, and continental breakfast will be provided. The day's program ends at 3:30 pm.

What to bring

Every member of your team must have a PHOTO ID to enter the World Bank.

Note: please do not bring backpacks and large bags, as this will delay entrance through security. For more information about security proceedures,

Directions

We recommend that you arrive by Metro. The World Bank is accessible by Metro using station Farragut West (Blue or Orange Lines) or Farragut North (Red Line). Walk west along K or I Street to 19th Street. Turn left on 19th and walk south. Please call the World Bank office at (202) 473-8751 for more information.

Parking

There are public garages nearby, but note that parking for a day may be as much as $20-$24 or more.
